Reel Montclair, the film conversation series created by the Film Institute at Montclair State, has partnered with the Writers Guild of America, East to present Dialogue with the Screenwriter. Please join us for an in-depth conversation about the art and craft of screenwriting with one of the godfathers of independent film in the United States, John Sayles. Twice nominated for an Academy Award, Mr. Sayles’ films have been revered, studied, and honored for the authentic depiction of history and community by the NAACP, the WGA, and the American History Association among others.
